Three Hurst Limontes Attorneys Named to 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists

Oct 8, 2026

Indianapolis, Indiana – Three attorneys at Hurst Limontes LLC, an Indianapolis personal injury firm, have been selected to the 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. Managing partner Alexander J. Limontes and attorney Katherine G. Karres were named to Indiana Super Lawyers, and attorney Chase T. Wilson was named to Indiana Rising Stars.

Super Lawyers picks its honorees through a multiphase process that combines peer nominations with independent research. Candidates are reviewed on 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition. No more than 5 percent of lawyers in a state are named to the Super Lawyers list, and no more than 2.5 percent are named Rising Stars.

The Rising Stars list is limited to attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been practicing for 10 years or less.

This is Limontes’ seventh consecutive year on the Super Lawyers list, which he joined in 2021 after six years as a Rising Star. He is recognized for personal injury – general: plaintiff, along with products liability and workers’ compensation. His Super Lawyers profile also lists him on the Top 50: 2027 Indiana Super Lawyers list, the second year in a row he has made it. Limontes earned his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2007 and started his career at the Marion County Public Defender Agency. He speaks English and Spanish and handles car, truck and motorcycle crashes, wrongful death and workers’ compensation cases.

Karres was named to the Super Lawyers list for the fifth straight year. Before that, she was a Rising Star every year from 2017 to 2022. She is recognized for personal injury – general: plaintiff. Karres has represented only injured people since 2011, has tried 30 injury cases and has served on the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association board of directors since 2024. She is also a graduate of the IU McKinney School of Law.

Wilson has been named a Rising Star every year since 2021, making 2027 his seventh selection. He is recognized for personal injury – general: plaintiff, as well as civil rights and civil litigation. Wilson has been licensed in Indiana since 2016 and handles car and truck accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, assaults and negligent firearm discharge cases.

“Katie and Chase show up for their clients every single day, and I’m proud to see that recognized,” said Limontes. “This work is about the people we represent, and that’s where our focus stays.”

The Super Lawyers news follows another recent recognition for the firm. In August, all three attorneys were among five from Hurst Limontes named to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
